First Look – Rise & Shine

This past Monday, on Rough Tims, I had a chance to preview a game coming out in January called Rise & Shine. In Rise & Shine you control a little boy named Rise. Rise must save Gamearth from the dreaded invasion of Nexgen with the help of his new gun, Shine. The game play is a mixture between puzzle-platforming and 2D “shoot ’em up” action. In just the short, half-hour demo I played there were tons of references to popular games. Take a peak at the highlight from Monday’s stream and see if I missed any game references in the first level.
