Resident Evil 6 Shambling to PC

Capcom has revealed that the next game in the Resident Evil series is confirmed for PC “sometime after the console release”. This new iteration takes place 10 years after the Raccoon City incident in Resident Evil 2. Leon Kennedy makes his return, and surprisingly so does Chris Redfield of Resident Evil 5 fame. The two leads each have their own complete story line in a branching campaign. Leon Kennedy works his way through a campaign in the US while Chris Redfield’s campaign take place in China. It’s rumored that Ada Wong also makes a playable appearance once you’ve finished the first 2 campaign branches.

While there aren’t a ton of other details available for this new Resident Evil title, what has been revealed is that the infection has hit as many as 70,000 residents, including the President of the United States! The trailer shows that the President has called on Leon Kennedy personally to investigate the problem. The trailer shows some interesting looking game play. The worst part is, there’s no hard release date for a PC release. You can expect the console version to be available on November 20th, with the PC version sometime after. When more details are available, KBMOD will bring them to you.

Man, there’s a more than likely chance that this game won’t be that awesome, but my RE fanboy tinted glasses will make me buy this on release day, I can smell it.

I'll drink a beer with you at a party. I know hardware things and enjoy talking about them. I am still your new best friend and most trusted confidant.
