First Look: Unreal Tournament 4 Public Alpha

While we didn’t get a chance to do our co-op game with Fedzski, one of our chat members for the stream let me know that there was a functional Unreal Tournament Alpha available to play with. There is no way I could pass that up.

The new Unreal Tournament is still in a very early alpha stage, you have to use a 3rd party tool to even connect to a server at this point, but that doesn’t make it any less true to form. We hit shock combos, we had a nice little no scope combo kill streak, and we finished off the night with a tour of the new Deck 16, where the Redeemer is still going strong.

For an early phase game, there is a ton of promise here and things are hopefully only going to get better. Check out our first look and if you want to dive in yourselves you can head here for the game files and here for the launcher.

I'll drink a beer with you at a party. I know hardware things and enjoy talking about them. I am still your new best friend and most trusted confidant.
