Unreal Engine 4: You’ve Never Seen Anything Like This

Unreal 4 is yet to be widely adopted in game releases and those where it was used (Daylight) didn’t really show yet what the engine is capable of.

However, the openness of the platform and accessible price of the engine have led to it being in a lot of hands already.  This means we will probably see a lot of people pushing this engine to places even the developers didn’t know it could go.  This may also lead to innovations with the engine not before possible.

Koola over on the Unreal Engine forums has begun to push the engine pretty far already.  Look at what he does with the lighting in these short demos.  Just watch and get blown away!

Note: According to the PCGamer article, these were rendered at 30 fps on an i7-3770 with a gtx670.
