KBMOD Podcast – Episode 218

This week’s podcast might be shy one APL, but his absence did not stop the rest of the team from providing you with a bottomless meme-soaked rabbit hole of PC gaming news to tumble down. Tribes Ascend received its first update in more than two years, and it is a substantial one. If your Skylake CPU managed not to crumble under the weight of your CPU cooler, then perhaps you’ll be interested in the possibility of overclocking it. CS:GO’s Winter Update introduced a number of changes, including what is likely the most controversial weapon the series has ever introduced. (Thankfully, it has been nerfed.) Other news includes a new Competitive Gaming Division from EA and the release date of HTC’s Vive VR headsets being revealed.

Viewer questions this week include our favorite kinds of milk and cookies, advice for handling stressful college finals, and the latent Christmas wishes of the team.

Remember that you can catch the podcast live every Sunday night at 10pm ET on twitch.tv/kbmod. If you enjoy the podcast, please leave us a review on iTunes!

Brandon started his PC gaming days playing Doom II (IDDQD/IDKFA for life) and has been hooked on online gaming since the original Starsiege: Tribes. The way to his heart is through proper grammar, corn dogs, and cookie cake.
