KBMOD Podcast – Episode 272

This week’s cast is a fun and entertaining episode for all, unless you happen to work for Mug Root Beer. We kick off the cast with some exciting new website content and a recap of our favorite April Fool’s Day ruses. In the news, Destiny 2 gets confirmed for PC, Riot Games updates an unusual ban policy, and Ubisoft updates For Honor as players threaten to boycott the game. In the quick hits, Mad Cats files for bankruptcy, the AP stylebook confirms the official capitalization of “esports” (with a lowercase S), Palmer Luckey is leaving Oculus, Steam partners with Crunchyroll to get a better anime library, and the Quake Champions closed beta begins later this week.

New releases this week feature the latest Shovel Knight content, new PC ports of LEGO City Undercover and Bulletstorm, a new party game similar to the Jackbox titles, and several indie titles of varying quality.

The viewer questions this week ask us about our favorite video game soundtracks, our preferences regarding frozen pizza brands, the best options on the Denny’s menu, and which language we would want to pick up for a travel opportunity.

Remember that you can catch the podcast live every Sunday night at 10pm ET on twitch.tv/kbmod. If you enjoy the podcast, please leave us a review on iTunes!

Brandon started his PC gaming days playing Doom II (IDDQD/IDKFA for life) and has been hooked on online gaming since the original Starsiege: Tribes. The way to his heart is through proper grammar, corn dogs, and cookie cake.
