KBMOD Podcast – Episode 281

The podcast returns this week with a concise look at the first half of E3’s 2017 conferences and other gaming news. New game announcements include the newest Metro title, Bioware’s new IP Anthem, the new split-screen-only title from the team behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Battlefront II, a Life Is Strange prequel, and much more. Microsoft’s conference showcased the Xbox One X, a console boasting stronger hardware than the PS4 and promising a consistent 60 FPS at 4K resolution. There’s a lot of news to cover, so make sure you listen in! In a brief quick hits section, Valve announces their fee for Steam Direct, and Humble Bundle has launched a new E3-themed package to celebrate the event.

New releases this week include the PC port of King of Fighters XIV, the newest and most intense Pro Cycling Manager to date, a promising indie title.

Viewer questions this week ask about the least acceptable condiment to pair with fries and our appreciation for pineapple on pizza. Finally, our iTunes review this week addresses an issue the podcast has suffered since its inception.

Remember that you can catch the podcast live every Sunday night at 10pm ET on twitch.tv/kbmod. If you enjoy the podcast, please leave us a review on iTunes!

Brandon started his PC gaming days playing Doom II (IDDQD/IDKFA for life) and has been hooked on online gaming since the original Starsiege: Tribes. The way to his heart is through proper grammar, corn dogs, and cookie cake.
