KBMOD Podcast – Episode 282

Just in time before your post-E3 depression starts to set in, our full cast of characters returns to warm your hearts. In E3 news, Quake Champions is getting a $1 million tournament at QuakeCon, a new Wolfenstein gets announced with a crazy weird trailer, Bethesda announces a new form of mod support called Creation Club, Rocket League is coming to the Nintendo Switch, and we learn that two new Metroid games are in development. In other gaming news, Take-Two shuts down a popular modding tool for Grand Theft Auto V, a job posting hints at the possibility of remastered versions of Diablo II and Warcraft III, and Sega expresses interest in bringing Persona and Yakuza to the PC.

In the viewer questions, we debate the optimal way to use an unlimited buy-one-get-one-free fast food coupon, explore the feasibility of some possible Extra Life donation incentives, and get psychedelic by turning video games into drugs.

Brandon started his PC gaming days playing Doom II (IDDQD/IDKFA for life) and has been hooked on online gaming since the original Starsiege: Tribes. The way to his heart is through proper grammar, corn dogs, and cookie cake.
