New Dishonored Trailer Shows Off Violent In-game Footage

Dishonored is looking to be one of the most interesting games coming out this year. The initial trailer was all pre-rendered and showed no actual gameplay, but now we finally have some in-game footage–and it is absolutely brutal.

The violence you unleash in this game appears to be unforgiving and in-your-face. The environment is bleak and totalitarian. Plague victims are dumped in mass graves with little care as the city falls apart. Add in rats devouring men alive and time stopping while you run someone through with your blade, and it’s not hard to see that Dishonored won’t be for the faint of heart.

Dishonored releases on October 9 in the US and October 12 in Europe.
