0Design-a-Shirt Contest!
UPDATE: THIS IS EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 22, 2014
Hey everyone, I’m Matt, the newest and most upside-down member of the KBMOD family. My first official item of business for the site is to announce the first-ever KBMOD T-Shirt design contest.
As many of you may have noticed, the KBMOD Spreadshirt store has just been updated largely thanks to the talents of a community member who goes by Sasysassquatch. Due to the popularity and interest in the new designs, we thought it might be a good opportunity to source some additional original content to make available to the community.
There are a couple rules:
- Copyright Free – submissions must be original content and cannot incorporate designs from other brands / entities. By entering the contest, you forfeit ownership of design to KBMOD, LLC for sale purposes (however you will be credited as artist of origin)
- Keep it clean – while some of our content may boarder on rated R (or possibly worse), decency rules that are out of our control prohibit use of offensive content
- To be eligble for print, the items must adhere to the following format: JPG/PNG Image size up to 4000 px (file size 10 MB maximum) OR Vector graphics with a maximum of 3 colors (preferred). Your image may be resized / manipulated before made available as a product on our Spreadshirt store
Our THREE favorite submissions will be added to our Spreadshirt store and the winners will receive their newly designed shirts shipped to them for free as a token of our appreciation!
Your designs can be created in whatever format/application you wish: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MSPaint, paint.net, are all acceptable. If you have a complicated design, use Spreadshirt’s design tool and include a screenshot of how you would like it to be placed on the shirt. All submissions are to be sent to mrmattymouse@kbmod.com and carbon-copy community@kbmod.com. We will accept submission from August 25, 2014 until September 22th, 2014.
That’s it! I am looking forward to and slightly afraid of what you’ll send me… good luck!
