KBMOD Podcast – Episode 180
We’ve done a 180! Scott, Dan, Nikon, Hex and John bring you a jam-packed post-GDC/PAX episode of the podcast. We start talking Dan’s birthday, bar stories and a weird obsession with Tony Shalhoub. The cast then goes into some video games including GTA San Andreas, Lucius, Isbarah, and the new hotness that is Unreal Tournament.
The news this week is chock full of stuff from GDC and PAX. It’s a good time to be a developer with Unreal 4 going free, and then Unity 5 and Source 2 following suit. Valve announces several new hardware ventures. NVIDIA leaves us all puzzled, with the announcement of an android console and the Titan X. We end the news with several new game and expansion announcements including Wolfenstein, Shovel Knight, Mad Max and Metal Gear.
Viewer questions ask about dealing with family illness, Final Fantasy, router upgrades, bringing back old franchises, our predictions for Katowice 2015 and a visit from the Vape Sensei.
