0Good morning! Black Ops is still good, salty fun.
Good morning. Black Ops community night was a rousing success, with salt levels rising to near record highs by the end. As it should be. Now, let’s season your day with some news links!
GTA IRL: Corridor Digital do some insanely good stuff. This real life GTA video may be their best yet. Definitely give it a watch!
Did we need this sequel: Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is a thing. Let’s hope they follow Call of Duty and put one man army noob tubes into the game.
Bringing back the GOAT: It’s no secret that Megaman is one of the most beloved franchises of all time. Now you’ll be able to enjoy restored, remastered and lovingly ported versions of the first six Megaman games on PS4, Xbox One and PC. This is awesome and I hope this studio continues their quest to “restore” old titles properly. Metroid next?
Leaky prices: The prices for AMD’s newest GPU line have leaked online. They are looking really affordable! Hopefully the price vs performance puts some pressure on NVIDIA.
Walking the line: Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been teased. This is the name, I guess, for the Mirror’s Edge 2/remaster thing. Maybe. We won’t know for sure until E3.
Top tips for nice moves: PCGamer has posted a little collection of CS:GO movement tutorials. Check ’em out and move a little more efficiently over the alleys of Dust 2.
Build, defend, build again: Fortnite was shown for Mac yesterday as a show of the new graphics API, but it is already in beta on PC. PCGamer gets hands on with Epic’s newest title and gives a rundown of the game in an early state. I personally want to play this game as a fan of Dungeon Defenders and Minecraft.
Modcom: XCOM 2 will by very friendly to mods. This is awesome to hear as the game was just announced and already the developers are throwing support behind modding. Props to Firaxis and I can’t wait to see more at E3!
That’s all for today folks. The podcast will be out later today and you should check out this video of us playing Duck Game while you’re here.
Good talk. See ya out there.
