Everything is going towards making it a tablet friendly OS. From patterned log-in screens to the Windows Phone shell on the full tablet version, everything is going for this. As a gamer, and just a PC user, Windows 7 has been by far the best OS ever put out by Microsoft. I just hope they don’t make Windows 8 so tablet friendly they forget about all us power-users and gamers.
Concerns have been voiced everywhere by IT professionals as well as gamers over the viability of windows 8. I personally am not worried, as Windows 7 is far from end of life and as of right now, I’d stick with it. Pay attention to windows 8 news, but take everything with a grain of salt.
