EA recently listed all the retailers who would have pre-orders of BF3, and Steam was nowhere to be found. Given the Crysis 2 fiasco, EA rolling out Origin and then also pointing the finger at Valve for the pulling of Crysis 2, this might be just toying with Valve or it’s a sign of a split. A split is bad for all of us.
However, given that other EA games have shown up post pre-order, as the article points out, EA might just want all the pre-order cash it can get.
We shall see.
