>I’m not sure how to feel about this Star Wars MMO.

>This video is encouraging at times and disheartening at others for Star Wars: The Old Republic:

If EA doesn’t screw this up, we all win. I just don’t have that much faith.

    >I've been following this game for a long time. About 3 years, probably more. I've been a member of a guild for 2 years now. While the game seems very capable and cool on an RPG level, I am scared of how it will end up as an MMO. They tout their solo and storyline questing. There is supposed to be an entire end-game zone with good rewards that is for the solo player. While I think that's neat… I want to have groups and accomplish things with other people, you know… the reason you play an MMO.

BioWare is a good company and after seeing Blizzard explode with WoW, this could be great. It could, however, be a complete failure, though. With the number of Star Wars fans and expectations of this game it will be easy for it to not live up to the hype.

I'm more excited for Guild Wars 2 and PlanetSide 2 anyway. Not to mention I've got plenty of Battlefield 3 and Tribes:Ascend to be playing.

    >EA didn't touch this game at all, other than packing it up of course. All the credit for the success or failure of this MMO goes to BioWare and Lucasarts.

  4. Ryan says:

    >Hey bro, what were you disheartened by?
