>Valve are some interesting fellows. It took them a very long time to get “Meet the Medic” out after “Meet the Spy.” When it finally did come it, it met all expectations. Team Fortress 2 has a cult following for good reason. The Meet the Team videos are just one part of it. The art style, character and personality of the game all come together for players and make it just plain fun, fast action.
The article here is a behind the scenes look at creating that TF2 ambiance, specifically the “Meet the Medic” video. It shows a bunch of outtakes that weren’t used and the development of the story behind the class. Most FPS could care less about the characters. This is why we all love TF2.
