>Looking for a way to add some soft bias lighting to your Bro Cave?
Personally I’m a sucker for good lighting. It’s not even just about looks – bias lighting can save eye strain and can enhance the way you perceive color and contrast of your existing monitor (and HDTV!). Dan and I both featured some lighting behind our monitors: he chose an LED strip available at Ikea, while I employed a blue cold cathode without a home.
Ben Kuchera at Ars Technica has a hands-on with the Antec Halo 6 LED Bias Lighting Kit – this 14.5 inch strip features 6 white LEDs and is powered by a single USB connector. Peel the adhesive strip, place on the back of your monitor, and plug it in to a USB port. It’s that simple. You can’t really go wrong.
