>The Final Dead Island Trailer

>Dead Island is out very soon, hitting stores on Tuesday. The final trailer in what has been an epic hype machine is now out. I am excited for the game, but feel that it’s going to have to be one of the best of all time to live up to the hype. Will you be buying Dead Island or is it just glorified L4D?

    >It's just a pretty l4d2 with bad control

    >So much potential. The debut trailer was the best trailer I've ever seen for a game. Too bad its going to blow. No world physics = easy way out. I'll wait til next summer and pick it up for 5 bucks from a steam sale to get my 2 hours of lolz out of it. Not paying full retail for a l4d/dead rising knockoff.

    >At this point I'm going to be waiting for some YouTube reviews to decide whether or not I pick it up. While I was excited for it, the e3 trailer was extremely underwhelming and this one has done nothing to rekindle the hype, for me. It looks gorgeous but the gameplay, the most important part, looks quite clunky and slow from what little glimpses we've seen in these trailers. Besides that the open world aspect that they were being praised for seems to be very poorly executed. What with most objects not having physics, WoW like limits to the maps that will fuck you over, etc…
