Are you having problems with the PC version of Dead Island? Is it buggy (of course it is)? Techland is too busy posting DLC later this month to help you out, instead of fixing their game. Luckily, the PC community has your back.
A group of modders has gotten together to catalogue every bug in the game and put out fixes, tips, and tweaks in the thread linked here.
They have several fixes such as toggling vsync, disabling weapons blur, bloom, desaturate, changing FOV, even making the weather look different.
There are also several full mods in the works, like a realism mod and HUD mods. Be aware that they have taken all precautions with these as far as modifying files that may get you VAC banned, however I would advise caution. They have a disclaimer in the thread for a reason.
Edit: There is also a Dead Island Helper mod. It will automatically tweak many options. Once again use at your own risk. Thanks to @Isenones for the info.
