0Diablo III Beta Patch Brings Major Changes
Last week, Diablo III director Jay Wilson brought news of core changes to the game seemingly late in beta. This came as a surprise to many, as the game’s release was rumored to be close at hand. However, as is usually the case with Blizzard, Diablo III will be done when it’s done.
The patch hit the beta early Tuesday morning of this week, and many of the components of the game that beta testers had grown accustomed to are now gone. Simplified stats and easy-to-obtain crafting materials have been replaced by more in-depth stats and a more robust crafting system. The game feels more like Diablo II now, and I’m happy with that. I’ve put together a couple of videos below that describe the updates to the stats, UI, and crafting system.
