The KBMOD Uplink: Tuesday, January 29, 2013
I hope everyone enjoyed our livestream of the finale of The Walking Dead last night. It was an emotionally exhausting experience over the past five weeks. I didn’t know if I’d have the energy to do the Uplink today, but here I am and here are the links!
-The Crysis 3 open beta is available for download over on Origin. I can’t link you because it’s on Origin. Fine, here is a Joystiq blurb for the hell of it.
-I get a lot of tweets asking about gaming laptops and, frankly, I’m never too sure of the right answer. The Verge aims to help out today as it reviews several gaming laptops to find the king of them all. Check it out.
-Another day and more SimCity details are here. The digital deluxe edition has a trailer now, which you can watch below. It includes famous landmarks (such as Big Ben), new challenges, and even unique buildings that will spawn around the landmarks.
-DmC Devil May Cry is damn fun game. After streaming it Sunday though I’m still not sure it is worth a premium price tag. However, if you are a completionist or want a challenge through difficulty levels, it might be a $50 purchase for you. Read more in the PCGamer review of the game.
