Cheapest Games on Steam: Defy Gravity Extended

Puzzle games have been known to tell emotional and entertaining stories, present us with intriguing mysteries, and sometimes even scare the bejeezus out of us.  While Defy Gravity Extended does not do any of these things, its puzzles are enjoyable and fun to complete, which is arguably the most important piece of the puzzle game…puzzle.

The gameplay revolves around the manipulation and creation of gravity through Gravity Wells, which can be created and used to push objects away or pull objects towards them, including the player.  The player character Kara, is a gravitymancer that must complete “The Gauntlet,” a series of mind-boggling and often frustratingly difficult puzzles.  But why must Kara complete the gauntlet, and what exactly is a gravitymancer?  The game does not answer these questions, because it does not care.  Defy Gravity knows that its main attractions are its puzzles, and it does not disappoint.  The game’s levels show complexity through the many different ways the player can go about completing them.  The way you travel through the game, as well as how you avoid stage hazards, all depend on the many flexible ways you can play.  For more details, please refer to the video review.

Defy Gravity Extended is one of the most affordable puzzle game options on steam.  Retailing at $3, and often reaching a sale price of less than a dollar, it shouldn’t be too difficult to pony up a couple of your trading cards to be able to afford this title.  However, the small price of the game is not to speak for the game’s quality.  While the lack of modes and simple features that could do wonders for the game’s replayability are absent, Defy Gravity is still worth your time and money, however short it may be.
