>We posted yesterday that Mass Effect 3 would have multiplayer, but it was only speculation as to what that meant.
Now we know.
The missions will all be Co-op missions that help to determine the outcome of the single player campaign. The single player can be done without ever touching multiplayer, which is a good thing for those who want the pure experience.
The missions will be 4 player co-op and you will choose a race and class to play. You can play as several of the races of the Mass Effect universe. This squad will head out into battle to liberate territories and gather strength to fight the baddies from the main storyline. It is an alternative method of building up for the end battle of the main campaign. You will get added resources to use in the end as Commander Shepherd.
