Back to Karkand Specifics

The first map pack for smash hit Battlefield 3 will be blowing up your PC next month.  Now we know exactly what it will contain.

BF3 Blog has compiled a list of the new maps (from BF2), guns and vehicles in the pack.  While it isn’t an overwhelming list, the return of an old game mode, Conquest Assault certainly sounds intriguing.  This involves one team having all the points to start, and the other going on the offensive to try and take them.

Here are the new features:

• Gulf of Oman
• Sharqui Peninsula

• FAMAS
• Type 88
• L96A1
• Jackhammer
• MG36
• Type 95
• Type 97

Vehicles

• F35B fighter jet
• BTR-90 infantry fighting vehicle
• DPV fast transport vehicle
