Bro Cave: @Aequitaas

This week’s Bro Cave comes from forum user Aequitas. With dual monitors, a SteelSeries headset, a Razer Lachesis mouse, and Razer Lycosa keyboard, it definitely has all the makings of a substantial gaming machine. Add in a green cold cathode and a couple of Red Bulls, and you’re ready for a long gaming session.

Hey guys, my name is Tharindu a.k.a. Aequitas. I’m a Sri Lankan living in Dubai going to an Australian Uni in Malaysia. First thing I gamed on was a Gameboy Colour and then a Playstation 2. Mostly gamed on PCs on and off though. I played games like Fifa, Need For Speed, Cricket, Metal Gear Solid, Hitman, and Counter-Strike 1.6 (which was basically what gamers in Dubai played all day long, even to this day), but I only got a proper PC to game on in 2011.

I started saving up money, stopped spending money on consolol games for my PS3, and ended up with this:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster V6GT
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z
Graphics Card: nVIDIA Palit GTX560 Ti 2GB
Memory: Kingston HyperX 2x2GB DDR3 1600MHz
Hard Drive: WD VelociRaptor 10,000RPM
Optical Drive: LG 24X DVD±RW SATA Optical Drive
Power Supply: Cooler Master GX750W
Display: 24″ BenQ G2420HDB
Case: CoolerMaster 690 nVIDIA Edition
Headphones: Razer Carcharias/Steelseries Siberia V2
Speakers: Creative 5.1 Surround
Mouse: Razer Lachesis 5600DPI/Steelseries Sensei
Mouse Pad: Razer Goliathus Alpha Large Speed Edition/Steelseries QcK Mini
Keyboard: Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition
Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit

Unfortunately, my Bro Cave is situated at my place in Dubai, so I can only game during my holidays. :( My parents won’t let me take my rig over to my dorms, and my dad bought me a MacBook Pro to use for Uni, so that I wouldn’t game while I’m there studying. :P
