The KBMOD Uplink: Wednesday, January 23, 2013

Welcome to a new daily (hopefully!) news post here at KBMOD! We will be curating PC gaming and tech links here for your consumption. We may write articles on some of these pieces of news or use them as discussion points on the podcast. Either way, you’ll be more informed about what’s going on in the world of PC gaming.

Check out today’s links:

-The THQ Saga comes to a depressing end with the company and its games being sold off in parts. See what the high bidders won over at Ars Technica.

-Visceral Games confirms that upcoming horrorfest Dead Space 3 will be a straight console port. Didn’t they learn anything from the sales of Borderlands 2 or the upcoming PC friendly Bioshock Infinite?

CPUBoss is the newest tool for comparing PC parts.  I haven’t tried it out yet, but let us know in the comments what you think of the site.

PCGamer has some details on Blizzard’s upcoming MOBA, Blizzard All-Stars. Anyone else thinking too little, too late from Blizzard in the MOBA space?

-Got Half-life 2, a good graphics card and about 30gb of hard drive space?  You may want to check out this amazing (and frequently updated!) cinematic mod for the Valve classic. It looks amazing and you may see me streaming it on the KBMOD Twitch soon!

Hopefully this post serves to keep you in the know with the world of PC Gaming, KBMOD podcast topics, future articles or even content generated by you, the readers. You can always submit articles and other content to community@kbmod.com for our review.
