0Bro Cave: Dan
>
Allo Gents! It’s me, Nipnops here, your KBMOD editor-in-chief. This week it was my turn to show you my Bro Cave. That sounds dirty. Anyhow, let’s get the weekend started with my pc gaming area. Brandon is tough to follow up with a triple 1080p set up and an absolute beast machine. My Bro Cave, is kind of an actual cave, as it is in my basement. The basement is semi-finished (carpeting, bathroom). Click on the pictures to get a larger size.
Here is my general setup:
I have 3 22 inch monitors at 1680×1050. The third one, as you can see, is out of commission at the moment due to a faulty Displayport adapter. I ordered a new one today! I use a Logitech G15 keyboard, G500 mouse and have a Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 system. I don’t get to use the speakers often as they pack a lot of punch. The LEDs in the back are from Ikea, they are a neat effect and provide enough light at night while using little to no power.
Next is my PC itself:
– Antec 300 Case (best budget case there is)
– 4 GB Gskill Ripjaws DDr3 Ram
– AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition overclocked to 3.8
– Crossfire Radeon 5770s
– ASUS M4A87T-E 790GX Mobo
– 1TB WD Caviar Black, 750GB Caviar Black, 2 WD MyBook 500 GB External Drives
– Corsair 750W PSU
– Hyper 212 Cooler

The Guts:
As you can see, I haven’t done the best wiring job. Keeping my case dust free is also very hard in the basement environment. As far as other items, we have a little Epson Printer/Scanner we got off Woot.com. I also have Turtle Beach X60s for gaming headphones, Sennheiser HD 280 Pros for music and a Blue Snowball for recording and ventrilo. Hope you guys enjoyed my Bro Cave!
